🌴 Top 5 Outdoor Activities in Jupiter, Florida (From Someone Who Lives It)
By Troy Maleyko – Your Local Realtor & Outdoor Adventurer
Hey there,
If you’re anything like me, you crave fresh air, sunshine, and movement—and that’s exactly why I love calling Jupiter, Florida home. As someone who traded cold winters for salt air and endless trails, I can say this place checks every box for outdoor living.
Whether you’re visiting, relocating, or already settling into the Jupiter lifestyle, here are my top 5 favorite outdoor activities that capture the spirit of this beautiful community.
🏄♂️ 1. Paddleboarding the Jupiter Inlet
There’s something meditative about gliding across the glassy water as the sun rises behind the lighthouse. Whether you’re new or experienced, paddleboarding through the mangroves or along the Loxahatchee River is a must. Keep your eyes peeled—dolphins and manatees often cruise alongside.
🚴 2. Biking or Running Riverbend Park
Riverbend Park is a gem for those who love to run, hike, or bike through nature. The wide, shaded trails wind through cypress swamps, historic sites, and peaceful creeks. It’s also a favorite spot for early morning wildlife sightings. You might even catch me doing a training run here.
🛶 3. Kayaking the Wild & Scenic Loxahatchee River
Rent a kayak and explore Florida’s first designated Wild & Scenic River. Paddle under a canopy of ancient cypress trees, over gentle rapids, and through some of the state’s most untouched ecosystems. This is where adventure meets serenity.
🐚 4. Beach Days at Coral Cove
Just north of the Jupiter Inlet, Coral Cove is a quiet beach that offers unique limestone rock formations, snorkeling, and fewer crowds. It’s a great spot to bring the kids, the dogs, or just yourself with a good book.
🐊 5. Hiking Jonathan Dickinson State Park
This park has it all—hiking, trail running, camping, mountain biking, bird watching, even guided horseback tours. Climb Hobe Mountain Tower for sweeping views of the river and Atlantic. It’s one of my favorite reset spots after a full work week.
